Online casinos have come a long way and you’ll find loads of Arab casinos offering local currencies. In order to avoid the expensive currency exchange fees, many of our online casinos offer Arabic players to play with Saudi riyals, UAE dirhams, Bahraini and Kuwaiti dinars and Qatari rials.
The currency of the casino player account is selected when you register the account at the online casino, and choosing a casino that supports your preferred currency is important, as you'll save on exchange fees.
Although not commonly accepted at online casinos, there are a few that accept Bahraini Dinar for the deposit and withdrawal. So, if you have dinar to spend on gambling, you can find some great options out there, albeit not many. You can select BHD when registering the account and make payment without conversion fees.

The currency was introduced in 1965 and replaced the Gulf Rupee, which was the commonly used currency in the British protectorates Kuwait, the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Oman and Qatar, and it was used between 1959 and 1966. The Kingdom of Bahrain ↱ is located on the Arab Peninsula. All gambling activities are illegal in Bahrain. This includes land-based casinos, as well as online casinos. Gambling is prohibited according to Islamic law, and as an Islamic state, Bahrain is no exception. This means that there are no public casinos, and those who are found in breach of the laws an expect to be fined.
Bahrain blocks traffic to international online gambling websites, and some players use a VPN (Virtual Private Network) to circumvent those restrictions, but they do so at their own risk.
We don't recommend breaching any local laws with gambling online in Bahrain, and this page is aimed to people located outside of Bahrain who wish to spend Bahraini dinar in online casinos.
Once you've selected BHD as your account currency you won't be able to change it at a later date. If you wish to chance the casino account currency you'd need to contact the casino support for the necessary steps involved.
BHD is not commonly accepted at casinos, so if you've set your eyes on a casino that doesn't support it you can select another currency. Most casinos accept US Dollar and Euro, but depending on your payment, you might have to expect to pay currency conversion fees with the payment provider, which can typically range from 1% to 4%.
The available payment methods that players have in Bahraini dinar casinos depends on their country of residence, and which methods the casinos offers. Most casinos accept credit cards and common e-wallets, such as Skrill which you can also use for Bahraini dinar payments.

Online gambling is safe, provided you keep a few precautions in mind. The most important is to play at a licensed casino. But there are differences with the licences, and European regulators are stricter than others for example.
We recommend choosing a casino licensed by the UKGC or MGA, but if you wish to play at a Curacao or otherwise licensed casino, we recommend doing your research before playing there, as not all operators are trustworthy. Casinos recommended at CasinoDaemon have a good reputation though.
European licensing bodies put a strong emphasis on player protection and fair games. For example, players can set limits for responsible gambling, and operators are scrutinised by the regulators. They also have to make sure that they only offer certified fair casino games to their players, which will give you peace of mind of getting a fair chance for a win. These are only some of the reasons speaking for European regulated casinos, there are many more, like for example anti-money laundering provisions and marketing guidelines.
Playing at a licensed casino is safe for everyone, no matter where they live in the world.
